Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking for an experienced LPG Trader to join its Singapore desk, supporting the continued expansion of its global liquids portfolio. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with strong market knowledge, a proven track record in physical LPG trading, and the ambition to grow a book within an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand the LPG trading portfolio across Asia and the Middle East, executing physical trades and developing new commercial flows.
- Originate, negotiate and close spot and term opportunities with producers, refiners, distributors and end-users.
- Analyse global LPG fundamentals, freight, arbitrage movements and regional price dynamics to shape trading strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, shipping partners and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with operations, risk and finance to ensure seamless logistics, exposure management and contract execution.
Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years’ experience in physical LPG trading within a reputable trading house or energy major.
- Strong P&L track record and established counterparty networks in Asia.
- Solid understanding of LPG supply chains, shipping, storage and regional market structures.
- Highly analytical, commercially minded and decisive, with strong negotiation capability.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, lean trading environment
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related discipline.
