Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Trading House looking for a Senior Concentrate Trader to be based in Zug, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Source and sell physical commodities in EU / LATAM.
- Build and nurture customer and supplier relationships whilst also negotiating logistics and financing with suppliers.
- Manage physical risk positions.
- Attend client meetings and industry events (20-40% travel).
- Develop commercial proposals considering competition and market dynamics and make informed decisions based on this.
- Reports to Commercial Trading Director.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 5 years physical trading experience; 8 years preferred: Experience in metal concentrates (lead & zinc preferable).
- Must have a transferable book.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of metals trading and hedging
- To be located in Geneva or Zug.
