Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer firm looking to hire a Area Ops Manager to join the team in Norway. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Lead and manage Production and Process teams, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Address safety, health, environment, quality, production, maintenance, process, equipment development, cost control, and personnel management issues promptly and effectively. Set and achieve production, safety, environmental, efficiency, and cost targets, ensuring accountability. Collaborate with functional departments to establish and accomplish shared objectives, enhancing operational support. Manage external recommendations such as training, recruitment, safety, industrial relations, organizational design, productivity, and maintenance strategies, as well as identify capital project needs and succession planning. Key Qualifications / Experience  10+ years’ experience in large scale production firms with background in aluminium. Engineering or tertiary degree qualifications are required. Experience with continuous improvement and EHS programmes. Fluency in English and Norwegian is a must. Relocation to the Vefsn Municipality is required and would be assisted if needed.
