Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Trading House looking for a Traffic / Trade Finance / Operations Manager to be based in Zug, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Coordinate with forwarders and shipping agents for freight/chartering of vessels, barges, trucks, and railcars.
- Manage full contract administration, ensuring timely delivery, issuing invoices, payment orders, and preparing B/L instructions and responsible for coordinating a small team of junior-mid level operators.
- Instruct surveyors for materials’ inspection, survey, and tallying.
- Handle commercial claims with responsible traders.
- Declare stocks under insurance policies and for banking purposes.
- Reports into Management.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Commercial background with around 8-12 years (or more) experience in a Traffic position (Base Metals, Minerals, or Concentrates).
- Familiarity with letters of credit and international transport documentation.
- Fluency in English and any other languages beneficial.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Role Located in Zug, Switzerland.
