We are managing an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fund Administrator in Jersey with team leadership experience looking to further exercise these skills in an Assistant Manager position! This individual will be responsible for managing a team and contributing to the strategy, day-to-day management and direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Manage a team of Fund Administrators providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure optimal performance, professional growth, and a cohesive work environment.
  • Oversee the administration of private equity funds, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a key point of contact for their fund administration needs and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and monitor their achievement to drive operational excellence. Conduct staff appraisals, completion of appraisal and job description forms and other related documentation. Following up on matters raised at appraisal.
  • Role reports into Director.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Prior experience as a team leader or in project management with a proven track record of people management and the ability to conduct appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Experience of working within fund accounting/reporting or administration, ideally within the space of private equity to be able to effectively advise senior managers of the fund’s performance in board meetings and committees.
  • A personable and likeable individual with effective management and people skills, able to clearly communicate and lead from the front.
  • ICSA, CLT, CMI qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Located in Jersey or able to relocate.
