Redstone Commodity Search are working with an energy trading house looking to hire sales person to join their team in Paris.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for offering both physical and financial solutions to corporates within the energy space, with a focus on power & gas.
- Service the existing client flow across Europe.
- Originate and develop new business with corporate and industrial clients across Europe.
- Work closely with and provide team cohesion between the wider sales, trading and support functions in both Paris and London.
- Role reports to Head of Energy Sales, Europe.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 2 years sales / origination experience within the energy space, working for a bank, trading house, utility or similar.
- Strong understanding of both physical and derivative power and gas markets across Europe.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self starter with the ability to generate new business and/or transferable portfolio of clients within energy.
- Additional European languages are advantageous (not mandatory), especially German.
- Located in Paris or happy to relocate.
