Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international fertilizer trading company looking to hire an experienced Urea Product Manager to join their trading team in Switzerland.
This is a commercially focused role covering the global urea portfolio, with responsibility for developing sourcing and sales strategies, managing key supplier and customer relationships, and supporting profitable growth across international markets.
The business operates across a broad fertilizer product range and is looking for someone with strong market knowledge, commercial judgement and the ability to work closely with trading, logistics, risk and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the global urea product portfolio across key international markets.
- Build and execute sourcing, trading and market development strategies.
- Monitor global urea supply, demand, pricing, freight, regulatory changes and agricultural market developments.
- Build long-term relationships with producers, suppliers, customers and distribution partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures and commercial agreements to support
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fertilizers, with strong exposure to urea.
- Strong understanding of global urea producers, trade flows, pricing mechanisms and market drivers.
- Proven experience in product management, physical trading or commercial fertilizer markets.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management and analytical skills.
- Fluent English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
