Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodity trading house who are looking to hire an Operator, with Stockpile & Inventory experience, to join the team in Istanbul.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Oversee inventory management controls as well as supporting trading operations.
- Support the financial quarterly closing and the PnL analysis process.
- Implement stockpiles protocol for consolidation yards and stock and sale locations to promote standardization and excellence in all stockpile operations.
- Review terminal and service provider agreements, vetting new thermals providers, development and implementation of inventory controls, co-ordination between suppliers and customers etc.
- Reports into the VP of Operations & Logistics.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in commodity operations / logistics / supply chain position within the dry bulk space. Bachelor’s degree in a related field would be advantageous.
- Specific experience in trading operations as well as inventory management and control.
- Knowledge with an in understanding of the related accounting practices.
- Detail orientated, exceptional organisation and communication skills are a necessity.
- Located in Istanbul or happy to relocate.
