Redstone Commodity Search are working with global leader in steel and aluminum trading looking to hire a Trader for steel and aluminum finished products (Pergola and Façade) to join the team in the US.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Identify and engage US-based clients, such as pergola manufacturers and façade contractors, to secure sales of steel and aluminum finished products.
- Negotiate and close long-term trade contracts, and monitor market trends and tariffs to develop competitive sales strategies, ensuring cost-effective solutions for clients
- Customize material specifications (e.g., powder-coated aluminium for pergolas, high-strength steel for façades) to align with US building codes (ASTM, IBC).
- Build relationships through trade shows and direct outreach to expand the firm’s US market presence.
- Role reports to Global Manager.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience in steel, aluminum, or construction materials.
- Knowledge of steel/aluminum applications (e.g., extrusions for pergolas, sheets for façades) and US trade regulations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to engage manufacturers and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Located in the US.
