Team Leader – Corporate Advisory

Redstone Private Banking Search are working with a global multifamily office with activities in corporate advisory and M&A based in Mauritius, with growing coverage in Africa and wider globally. They are looking to hire a Corporate Advisory Team Leader to join their team, based in Mauritius, working with the Executive Director to have a meaningful impact on driving transactions in the growing firm. 

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Drive processes to completion within the firm, leading client relationships and communications, working closely with CFOs and finance teams, gathering and analysing information, translating complex financial findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior decision-makers.
  • Lead end-to-end advisory project delivery, from initial scoping through to final presentation, with responsibility for planning, timelines, resources, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Oversee financial analysis and strategic recommendations – reviewing financial statements, identifying business risks / opportunities, leading valuations and modelling, and developing corporate finance solutions (restructuring, capital optimisation, and M&A strategies).
  • Support and advise on transactions and providing guidance on deal structure, valuation, and negotiation strategy to have a real hand in guiding processes to completion.
  • Role reports to Executive Director.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 4 years’ experience within investment banking, corporate finance, private equity or management consulting.
  • Masters in finance, Business, Economics or a similar field is required with CFA, or equivalent is a strong plus.
  • Experience in managing financial analysis / transaction projects is needed, preferably within Africa / the Indian Ocean.
  • Must speak fluent French.
  • Role is to be located in Mauritius.
