Redstone Commodity Search are working with global steel trading house looking to hire a Steel Long Products Trader to join the commercial team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
• Manage steel sales to customers in the Singaporean market and to explore new value-added opportunities within South East Asia.
• Develop and achieve annual trading target, and develop sales tactics and strategies to meet annual business plan.
• Able to immediately leverage on existing relationships with producers and importers in the area.
• Maintain a full and current understanding of customer requirements, competitor activity, market activity, customer, and supplier performance.
• Reports into Steel Trading General Manager.
Key Qualifications / Experience
• Minimum of 5 years within steel and raw materials trading in Asia.
• Good working experience and knowledge of INCO TERMS 2020, contract exposure, UCP 600 and marine freight.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Independent thinker to support growth aspirations.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
