Redstone Commodity Search are working with an environmental commodity and risk management trading firm looking to hire a senior sales trader to cover the Benelux region, a senior level position with growth potential, in their HQ, Amsterdam office.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop client networks across the BENELUX region.
- Originate and execute trades in environmental commodities (carbon, renewable certificates, energy efficiency products, transport quotas).
- Translate client needs into structured, commercial trading solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and strategies.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
Experience Required
- Native Dutch / Flemish speaker with fluent English skills.
- 2–5 years’ experience in commodities trading, sales, or business development.
- Proven success in client-facing roles with strong commercial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, with advanced Excel skills.
- Background or interest in energy, renewables, or environmental markets.
- Located in Amsterdam or able to relocate
