Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established international Commodities Trading House, in their search for Senior Proprietary Traders, specialising in either Oil, Energy or Agriculture to join the growing practice in Geneva.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Focus on trading the oil/energy or agricultural markets including analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
- Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
- Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy/Oil/Agricultural Markets.
- Refine, and develop trading strategies.
- Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
- Role reports to the Head of Trading.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Having a broad understanding of international Energy/Oil or Agricultural fundamentals.
- Relevant trading experience in Energy / Oil (Across the barrel) / Agriculture
- Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
- 3+ years of relevant proprietary trading experience.
- Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Located Geneva, Switzerland.
