Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established international Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Senior Proprietary Energy Trader to join the growing Energy team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Focus on trading the long-term EU Energy markets including analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
- Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
- Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
- Refine, and develop trading strategies.
- Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
- Role reports to the Head of Energy Trading.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Having a broad understanding of international Energy fundamentals.
- Relevant trading experience in Natural Gas / Power / Oil (Across the barrel)
- Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
- 3+ years of relevant proprietary trading experience.
- Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Located in UK/Switzerland.
