Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global energy trading firm specializing in energy derivatives looking to hire a fuel oil market maker to join their growing trading desk in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage and develop market-making activities across fuel oil markets, providing liquidity, pricing expertise and trading support to a broad and large client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing counterparties while identifying new commercial opportunities and expanding market coverage.
- Monitor market developments, manage trading exposures and contribute to the ongoing improvement of pricing strategies and market-making capabilities.
- Role reports to CEO / Head of Trading
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience within fuel oil, energy trading, brokerage or a related commodities environment, with strong market knowledge and proven trading ability.
- Experience market making, quoting prices, managing risk and interacting directly with clients/counterparties across physical or paper markets.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop client relationships, identify opportunities and operate effectively within a fast-paced trading environment.
- Role is to be located in Dubai
