Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international agribusiness group looking to hire a Senior Green Coffee Trader for their office in Zug.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase green coffee from global producers, cooperatives, and exporters.
- Manage and optimise the P&L of an independent trading book, including pricing and hedging strategies.
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen the company’s footprint in the European / German coffee market.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with roasters, importers, and institutional clients.
- Collaborate with origin and quality teams to deliver innovative, high-quality coffee products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in coffee trading or other agricultural soft commodities.
- Strong knowledge of global coffee markets, pricing mechanisms, and trading platforms.
- Proven skills in risk management, hedging, and use of futures/options.
- Fluency in English and German, with willingness to travel internationally.
