Redstone Commodity Search are working with a trading house and exporter looking to hire an experienced chemical trader to join the team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Develop and manage chemical trading opportunities across domestic and international markets, including sourcing, marketing, and arbitrage strategies to maximize margins.
- Execute the full trading cycle covering market analysis, deal structuring, pricing, contract negotiation, logistics coordination, and risk management.
- Leverage an established network of producers, distributors, and end-users to expand the chemical trading portfolio and drive profitable volumes.
- Role reports to General Manager
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Proven experience in chemical trading or related petrochemical products, with a strong understanding of global chemical markets, pricing mechanisms, and supply–demand dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record of executing physical chemical trades, including contract negotiation, logistics management, and counterparty coordination.
- Mandarin Chinese language skills advantageous
- Role is to be located in Singapore
