Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to hire a Senior Cement Trader to join the team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Conduct in-depth analysis of local and international markets to identify and capitalise on trading opportunities, staying current with market trends and developments.
• Secure strategic suppliers and reliable buyers, ensuring effective management of relationships on both sides to facilitate seamless trade transactions.
• Collaborate closely with the trade operations team to oversee efficient cargo handling, optimizing costs and managing risks throughout the trade process.
• Draft contracts with favourable terms that protect the organization’s interests while ensuring client satisfaction, actively participating in negotiations.
• Role reports to Managing Director of Trading.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bulk commodities trading within the cement industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing relationships on both the supplier and buyer sides.
• Deep understanding of chartering and shipping operations to effectively oversee freight management.
• Demonstrated ability to expand a trading portfolio by entering new markets or introducing new products.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ), strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, logical problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be located in Dubai / readiness to relocate.
