Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established environmental commodities trading business looking to expand its activities across broader commodity markets. The firm is seeking entrepreneurial commercial professionals to help develop new trading desks, originate business and contribute to the next stage of its growth and diversification.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Develop and grow trading activities across biofuels, biomethane and related renewable energy markets.
- Originate new business and establish relationships with producers, suppliers, end users and other market participants.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape trading strategy, identify growth opportunities and establish new commercial capabilities.
- Role reports to Managing Director
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in biofuels, biomethane, renewable gas or related energy and environmental commodities markets.
- Background in physical trading and/or sales trading, origination, business development or commercial portfolio management.
- Experience building a trading portfolio, developing a new market or leading a desk would be advantageous.
- Role is to be located in the Netherlands
