Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Metals Trading House looking to hire a Trade Analyst to join the commercial team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Monitor global markets for opportunities and trends that can be exploited by the company traders
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential trades, including an assessment of risks and rewards (price the risk)
- Develop quantitative models to establish correlation analysis and evaluate the profitability of proposed trades
- Understand the goals and objectives of the company’s trading strategies and provide analysis to support those strategies
- Translate complex analyses to short and simple trade recommendations including an explanation of the rationale behind the recommendation
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 5 years of experience in analysis position
- Experience with technical analysis such as Greek, Fibonacci etc
- Experience with technical charting software such as Bloomberg, Reuters, TT or any other commonly used platform
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data quickly and accurately
