Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading steel and mining company looking to hire a procurement and supply chain specialist to join.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage purchasing and procurement activities across steel, iron ore, coal, and related raw materials.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term sourcing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and supply-demand dynamics to optimize procurement decisions.
- Role reports to head of procurement
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within the mining, steel, or raw materials sectors.
- Strong knowledge of commodity markets (iron ore, coal, minerals, or steel).
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts with international suppliers.
