Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading mining and metals group looking to hire a Principal Analyst to join the team in Singapore .
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
• Analyse aluminium sector trends, growth opportunities, and value chain shifts.
• Forecast aluminium demand, production, and pricing through data interpretation.
• Maintain a comprehensive capacity database for future changes.
• Synthesize data for a clear market perspective and develop supply/demand models.
• Enhance cost data, create cost curves, and communicate insights transparently.
• Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and projects, collaborating with Sales and Marketing for value-adding opportunities and providing proactive commercial insights to support negotiations and senior stakeholders.
Key Qualifications / Experience
• Relevant degree in Economics, Sciences, or related field.
• 5-10 years of aluminum or metals market analysis experience.
• Fluent in English, proficiency in MS Office and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Located in/ able to relocate to Singapore
