Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Global Commodity Trading House looking to hire a Plant Manager to join their North American Team based in Manitoba.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Cultivate and ensure application if safety standards and legislation
- Responsible for supervising processing staff to create a team which utilises innovation and problem solving to increase and maintain high performance
- Plan, report and implement optimization strategies of the team and equipment to keep production on time and in budget
- Work with the FSQA co-ordinator in monthly meetings to organize and contribute to the SQF project
- Role reports to Operational Manager
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a plant or production manager of an agricultural facility (such as of pulses, beans, organics, chickpeas, lentils)
- Degree in Agribusiness, Economics or a related field is preferred
- SQF certification ideal
- Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus
- Must be located in Manitoba, Canada
