Redstone Commodity Search are working with a trading company looking to hire an Operator to join the team in London.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Coordinate shipments to clients and ensure it is processed at the requested schedule.
- Compose Purchase orders from clients and advise traders of declaration, as well as reporting monthly inventory.
- Maintain regular communication with various internal parties such as trading, risk and trade finance teams to ensure smooth process.
- Ensure clients are always within credit limits before shipping, and request invoices issues by the invoicing analyst.
- Role Reports to Operations Manager.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 3+ year experience in operations, logistics, international trading or similar role.
- Strong communication skills and organization skills as you will be handing high value transactions.
- Understanding of global shipping and relevant documentation (L/C) is an advantage.
- Passionate about the commodity markets and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Located in London.
