Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to hire an operations and logistic professional to join the team in Lima, Peru
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage end-to-end logistics for mining commodities, coordinating movements from mine sites to ports, ensuring timely shipment execution and document accuracy.
- Prepare, review and process trade finance documentation including letters of credit, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and contractual paperwork.
- Liaise closely with suppliers, transport companies, surveyors and internal trading teams to ensure smooth operational flow and compliance with contractual terms.
- Role reports to Director
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 3-5 years minimum of experience in operations, logistics or trade finance within commodities, mining or international trade
- Ability to handle documentation, coordinate shipments and communicate effectively with mine operators, logistics providers and port agents; familiarity with mining products is highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in English and Spanish – fluency in Russian and Ukrainian is highly advantageous
- Role is to be located in Lima, Peru
