Redstone Commodity Search are working with a metal producer looking to hire a Metals Sorter.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Conduct hands-on testing, segregation and sorting of incoming metal materials.
- Operate analytical equipment (e.g., handheld XRF analyser) to identify alloy compositions.
- Assist with metal processing tasks including loading/unloading vehicles and packing for sale.
- Role reports to Trading Manager
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience using handheld XRF metal analysers in a relevant environment.
- Strong familiarity with Nickel & Cobalt superalloy specifications, especially aerospace/IGT grades.
- Valid, clean UK driving license.
- Valid Forklift Truck license (counterbalance or similar).
- Role is to be located in Rotherham, UK
