Redstone Commodity Search are working with global ferrous trading house looking to hire a Head of Thermal Coal Trading to join the commercial team in Singapore
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Develop and recommend strategic business plan and annual operation plan to drive strategic objectives
- Responsible for coal trading – sales and sourcing across geographies, key delivery outcomes being volumes, growth, market share and profitability
- Monitor and continuously enhance performance standards of the sales employees in the business across geographies
- Focus on business development and driving synergies between various product segments within the trading cluster of the company
- Reports into Head – Minerals & Agri
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 18+ years’ experience with thermal coal trading
- Strong network within Asian markets
- Proven team handling skills. Ability to take peers and team along in various change management initiatives
- Good connection with key customers/suppliers globally
- Fluent in English
