Redstone Commodity Search are working with a real-time market intelligence provider looking to hire a Gas Market Analyst to join the team in New York.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Track and analyse natural gas market trends, including supply-demand dynamics, pricing, production, storage, and transportation.
- Produce high-quality, concise reports and commentaries on natural gas market developments.
- Provide real-time updates and analysis on breaking news, policy changes, and geopolitical events impacting the natural gas market.
- Work closely with other analysts covering energy, commodities, and macroeconomic trends to provide in depth market perspectives, as well as providing short and long term forecasts.
- Role Reports to Global Head Analyst.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, Finance, or another major. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3+ years experience in analysis within the US gas markets.
- Capable of providing real time and actionable analysis in a fast paced environment.
- Fluent in English and able to work US hours.
- Position can be fully remote or with a soft New York presence.
