Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international logistics company looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join the air and sea freight team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Target manufacturers, renewable energy sectors, retailers, and other businesses in need of logistics solutions.
- Formulate and implement business development strategies to broaden the customer base and boost revenue.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with key industry decision-makers and influencers.
- Perform market research to spot trends, threats, and growth opportunities.
- Work with operations, customer service, and finance teams to deliver seamless client solutions and exceed expectations.
- Role reports to General Manager.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management within the freight forwarding or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and supply chain management.
- Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relations, capable of influencing high-level decision-makers.
- Readiness to travel as necessary.
