Business Development Manager – Nuts

Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities trading house looking to hire a Business Development Manager to set up a desk in the US.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for developing and growing the Nuts trading portfolio across the US.
  • Generate business within new and currently untapped markets, be the go-to person for the expansion of this division.
  • Establish KPI’s, build and structure a team to ensure the full trade process runs smoothly.
  • Conduct expert market research / analysis on the Nuts industry in order to create and execute effective strategies.
  • Role reports to CEO.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience within a commercial and business development position within Agriculture products, with management experience being a plus.
  • Experience with Nuts such as cashew kernel, walnut, almond is required.
  • Previous proven experience of setting up a new desk is an advantage.
  • Bachelor or higher qualification in trading required.
  • Role to be based in East Coast, US
