Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international supplier of Raw Materials, packaging and Machinery goods looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join the team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Grow existing accounts and develop new customers and products to meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs and annual budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and regional offices worldwide, delivering value-added sales and technical presentations while travelling regularly.
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve growth targets, provide regular sales reporting, and contribute to CRM/SAP systems and business development initiatives.
- Role reports to Director of Sales
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in international export markets, with strong product knowledge of packaging raw materials such as plastics, paper, steel or aluminium and a proven track record managing a business of approximately GBP 10-25M.
- Solid understanding of shipping, Incoterms and Microsoft Office, with international travel experience—preferably across MENA—and willingness to travel frequently across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
- Strong team player able to build relationships across multinational teams, with a proactive approach to developing new markets and expanding international business opportunities.
- Role is to be located in London
