Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international agricultural trading house looking to hire a Business Development Executive Middle East and North Africa to join their office in Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Generating and developing current and new customers, expanding the network of relevant connections and potential markets in relevant products (such as pulses, edible beans, lentils, pea, seeds and organics)
- Utilising current market trends and conditions as to maintain competitiveness
- Represent the company internationally at overseas trade shows a few times per quarter
- Manage the companies’ contracts to ensure proper contract terms from the point of shipping to receiving payments
- Role reports to Director – Sales and Marketing
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Degree in a related field (such as Agribusiness, Agriculture, Economics) is required, with a fundamental understanding of supply chain and logistics of agricultural business, preferably within the context of relevant products (such as pulses, edible beans, lentils, pea, seeds, and organics)
- Previous leadership experience and understanding of team management is preferred
- Must be able to develop, adapt and implement different business strategies after collaboration with executive leadership
- Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is required
- Role is to be located in Mississauga and is 100% in office
