We are proud to be partnering with a fast-growing international energy trading company. As part of their expansion, we are seeking an experienced Bunker Trader to join their physical trading operations in Asia, based in Singapore, to strengthen their marine fuels business and support regional growth.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead physical bunker trading activities across Singapore and wider Asia.
- Identify, negotiate, and execute profitable trades in marine fuels and related products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, suppliers, and brokers.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless delivery and compliance.
- Represent the company at client meetings, ports, and industry events to expand market presence.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Proven track record in physical bunker or marine fuel trading.
- Strong understanding of Asian bunker markets, particularly Singapore as a hub.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial development skills.
- Ability to manage the full trade cycle, including risk, logistics, and credit considerations.
- Fluent in English; additional Asian languages a plus.
