The US arm of an established, well-capitalised international financial services group is expanding its US OTC corporate hedging platform and is open to confidential discussions with established OTC hedging teams across different commodity markets.

The firm is building a scalable US offering focused on bespoke OTC hedging solutions for corporate clients with commodity price exposure. Teams covering energy, metals, agricultural markets, or other commodity verticals are all of interest. Backed by a strong balance sheet, proven global infrastructure, and an existing international client base, this opportunity suits teams looking to build and grow a long-term US franchise.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Design and deliver bespoke OTC hedging solutions for corporate clients with commodity exposure
  • Advise corporates on hedging strategy, structure selection, and risk trade-offs
  • Originate, manage, and grow corporate client relationships within a specific commodity vertical
  • Partner with internal execution, clearing, risk, and compliance teams to structure and manage OTC transactions
  • Contribute to the build-out of the US OTC corporate hedging platform within the team’s product focus

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Established OTC corporate hedging or structured solutions teams from banks, FCMs, IBs, or commodity firms
  • Demonstrated client relationships within energy, metals, agricultural, or other commodity markets
  • Strong understanding of OTC derivatives, including options, swaps, and structured products
  • Experience navigating credit, margin, and regulatory considerations for OTC transactions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset suited to building a commodity-focused franchise within a US expansion
