Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global steel trading company looking to hire a Senior Steel Trade Head for the Middle East to join their expanding international trading team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead and develop the company’s steel trading activities across the Middle East and international markets
- Develop and grow an existing portfolio of customers and suppliers within a back-to-back trading environment
- Manage and mentor a commercial trading team including traders, operations and logistics personnel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, logistics providers, customers, suppliers and key market stakeholders
- Role reports to executive leadership and shareholders
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Proven experience within international steel trading with strong market knowledge across GCC and Levant regions
- Established network of customers and suppliers with the ability to bring an existing business portfolio
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing trading teams and commercial growth strategies
- Role is to be located in Dubai
