Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading metal trading company looking to hire a Procurement Operations Manager to join the team in Norway.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Be the leader in sourcing and contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing, strong service levels, and long-term value.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships while driving supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with plant leadership to provide procurement guidance and support decisions related to external spending, contracts, and supply strategy.
- Coordinate with the global procurement organization to implement company procurement programs and ensure alignment with broader sourcing strategies.
- Role reports to Director of EU Indirect Procurement.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional fluency in English and Norwegian
- Located or willing to relocate to Mosjøen, hybrid option available.
